Passed peacefully away in the presence of his family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, April 3, 2010, Richard 'Dick' King of Carbonear, age 64 years. Predeceased by parents: Ronald and Gertrude King. Leaving to mourn, wife: Gwenanne; daughter: Katherine, Carbonear; son: Timothy, Carbonear; two granddaughters: Cassandra and Veronica; one brother: William (Peggy), Carbonear; three sisters: Margaret Foley, Grand Falls-Windsor, Jean Delaney, Old Perlican and Monica (Ewen) Newhook, Gander; Aunts: Marie Short, Helen Fahey and Josephine King, all of Kingston; nieces and nephews: Christopher, Craig, Deanne, Jennifer, Heather, Stephanie, Jason, Susan, Amanda, Jillian, Richard and Meagan; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NŒL'S FUNERAL HOME, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral mass to take place on Tuesday, April 6 at 2 p.m. from St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Carbonear. Cremation to follow.
