At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Saturday, April 11, 2009, of Aben Russell Hilson MacLeod of North River Road, age 82 years. Beloved father of Brenton (Carol), Grandfather of Krista (Peter) Brodersen, Pam (Scott), Lee-Ann (Rick) Wilson, Stephanie (Tony) and great-grandfather of Maverick, Hunter and Halle MacLeod, Jacob Brodersen, Jack Wilson and Hayden Doyle. Also survived by sister-in-law Eleanor MacLeod and numerous nephews and nieces. Predeceased by his beloved wife (Marjorie Connick), parents Neil Hudson and Margaret (Wood), brothers Hayden, Allison and Neil, sister-in-law Gladys MacLeod, mother- and father-in-law Cyril and Sadie (Duggan) Connick, brother-in-law William Connick, and sister-in-law Sheila Connick. Resting at the Belvedere Funeral Home from where the public funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 12 noon. No visitation by personal request. Interment in People’s Cemetery, Charlottetown. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the St. James Presbyterian Church “The Kirk” or the Upper Room Hospitality Ministry.
