At the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Wednesday, April 15, 2009, with her family by her side, of Yvonne Marie Pineau of the Maplewood Manor, Alberton, age 93 years. Predeceased by her husband, Louis Pineau, in 1972. Born at Chelmsford, Ont., on Sept. 28, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Maxime and Eglantine (nee Brunet) LaCelle. Lovingly remembered by her children, John (Marilyn) of Poplar Grove, P.E.I, Marcel (Debbie) of Stratford, Phillip (Peggy) of Elmwood, P.E.I., Louise (John) Hardy of Union, P.E.I. She is survived by 10 grandchildren and by five great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Laurette LaCelle. She was predeceased by her siblings and by a great-granddaughter, Sydney Elaine. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton, from where the funeral will be held on Saturday morning for funeral service at 11 a.m. Pastor Sheila McCrea MacCallum officiating. Interment to take place in the Elmsdale Church of the Nazarene Cemetery. Visiting hours Friday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. If so desired memorials to the Western Hospital Equipment Fund or to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation would be gratefully appreciated.
