Passed away peacefully at the Dr. Walter Templeman Hospital on Wednesday, April 15th, 2009 Elsie (Elizabeth) Maddigan in her 77th year. Predeceased by both parents Mike and Mary Stoyles, brother George, husband Gabe, step-son Frank, daughter-in-law Jeanie, son-in-law Cliff. Leaving to mourn Florence, Les, Ches (Tina), Jimmy, Terry, Donny (Sis), Denise, Sid, Gerry (Fay), Gabe (Shelley), Carol Ann (Ray), Linda (Ian), Diane; grandchildren Juanita (Chris), Frank (Andrea), Julie (Darrin), April (Steve), Rhonda, Amy, Dylan, Jessica, Darryl, Melissa, Jessica, Cindy (Jay), Charlene (Ray), Ricco; great-grandchild Jasmine; special friends Carmel Rees and Colleen Cummings. Special thanks to Dr. Laurie, nursing and other staff of Dr. Walter Templeman Hospital, Bell Island. Also a large circle of friends. Resting at Pendergast's Funeral Home, Bell Island. Visitation on Thursday, April 16, from 4-9 p.m. and Friday, April 17 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to be held Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Michael Church, Bell Island. Interment to follow in Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bell Island. Flowers gratefully accepted or in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Lung Association.
