Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Hospital, surrounded by her loving family and friends on Wednesday, April 15, 2009, Alice Margaret Thorne, age 62 years. Predeceased by her parents Leo and Marcella Peddle and brother James Peddle. Forever in the hearts of her devoted life partner, John George, her loving children Jackie Thorne (Tommy Wingreen), Susan Thorne (John Clarke) and Steven Thorne, and their father Austin Thorne; her four precious grandchildren: Sarah, Caroline, Michael and Natalie; her sisters: Bernice Snook (Clyde), Mary Rumsey (Dave), Joan Rowe (Lloyd) and Ellen Holwell; her brothers Jerome Peddle (Gail) and George Peddle (Michelle); sister-in-law Linda Peddle; special cousin Gerald O'Brien, the George Family, dear friends Lois and Wayne Cashin, as well as many other close family members and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Higgins and the nurses of 7 West, St. Clare's Hospital for easing her suffering. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Thursday and Friday from 12 noon - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, April 18th, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Church.
