SCHULTZ (nee Davidson) – Clara Ann, May 4, 1932 – March 3, 2009. Clara, of Innisfail, AB, passed away at the University of Alberta Hospital surrounded by her family. She was a companion, a wife, and an unfailing supporter to Ronald W., for 56 years. She was the mother of Leslie Ann (deceased), Brian William (Cathy), Roni Marie Wedderien (Eric), Vicki Lynn, and Valerie Florence Bernardi (Dave); a loving grandmother to Leeann, Samantha and Willy Wedderien, Zach and Madison Bernardi, and Nathan and Simone Schultz. She was the oldest child of Walter and Bertha Davidson (both deceased) of Cabri, SK; a sister to Glenn (Irene) of Gull Lake, SK, Lee (Sharon) of Swift Current, SK, and Alan (deceased); and a sister-in-law to Stan (Eileen) Schultz of Red Deer, AB. She is also survived by her aunt Mi (Margaret) of Hillcrest, AB, who she traveled to Scotland with to the ancestral home in Wick; as well as numerous nieces and nephews in SK and AB, and cousins in Canada, USA, and Scotland. Clara was born at the original farm of her grandparents in the Gavrelle district north of Cabri. She took her schooling in Gavrelle in a one room school and in Cabri. After marrying Ron, Clara became a world traveler and resided in Fosterton, Alida, SK, Bashaw, Lodgepole, Innisfail, Alberta, Tripoli, Libya in North Africa, Balikpapan, Island of Borneo and Jakarta, Island of Java and Indonesia. Wherever she lived and traveled she made many lifelong friends and brought back many memories.
