BROWN - Vernon Stanley Brown was born August 19, 1929 and passed away on April 12, 2009 at Herb Bassett Home, Prince Albert at the age of 79 years. He is survived by his three sons, Orvil (Joanie) Brown and their daughter Karen; son Ron (Diane) Brown and children Mandy and Shayne; son Duane (Alice) Brown and children Rachel (Rick) Wasutyk (Connor & Abby), Meagan and Dacota; brother-in-law George (Darlene) Bannerman; nephews and nieces, Robert (Lorette) Bannerman, Diane (David) Sinclair, Shirley (Stan) McGillvary, Darlene (Glen) Brown, and Linda (Bob) Bird. Vernon was predeceased by his wife of 51 years Valerie, parents Jimmy and Irene Brown, his wife’s parents Lawrence and Mabel Bannerman, sister Ila and brother Clarence. The Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the MacDowall Lions Rec. Centre with Rev. Norbert Haukenfrers officiating. Private family interment of her ashes will take place at St. Andrews Halcro Church Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, MacDowall, SK.
