The death occurred peacefully at the South Shore Villa, Crapaud, on Saturday, April 18, 2009, of Annie Isabelle Moore, age 89 years. Beloved wife of Wrixon Moore. Born June 25, 1919, in the Appin Road, P.E.I., she was the daughter of the late Donald and Margaret Gordon. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Donald and her two brothers, James and Heath Gordon. Lovingly remembered by her son, Douglas (Marie), Richmond, B.C.: her daughter-in-law, Paula, Fredericton, N.B.; her grandchildren, Jeff (Sheri-Lee), Jayne (Ryan), Jennifer, Fredericton, N.B.; Jason, Julie, Steven, Richmond, B.C. and her five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her dear sister. Jean Harper, Vancouver, B.C.; sisters-in-law, Alice Gordon, Grand Falls, N.B. and Evelyn Moore, Crapaud, P.E.I., as well as many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Belvedere Funeral Home where the funeral will be held in the chapel, Tuesday, April 21, at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be in the Appin Road Cemetery. Visitation will take place Monday, April 20, 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday, April 21, 12:15-1:15 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Appin Road Cemetery or the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
