The death occurred at his late residence on Saturday, April 18, 2009, of Alfred E. MacDougall of Rice Point, age 89 years. Beloved husband of Audrey. Father of Sandra (John) Hughes, Alvin, and step-daughter Barb (Garth) Taylor. Grampy of Jason, Jessica, Krista, Lacey and Mandy. Step-grandfather of Chrissy and Shawn. Great-grandfather of Adison, Lauryn and Mason. Survived by brother Alex and sisters Gracie, Ruby, Helen and Ruth, predeceased by sisters Margaret, Gladys, Robina, Sadie, Olive and brothers Neil and Charlie. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Wednesday from Canoe Cove Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
