Passed away suddenly at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Saturday, April 18, 2009, Lawrence Smith of St. Lewis, Labrador, aged 63 years. Predeceased by parents Howard Smith and Effie Smith Ash. Left with fond memories his wife Verna of 41 years; daughter Wendy Poole (Shawn), granddaughter Natalie, Clarenville; sisters Muriel Walker (George), Winterton and Sylvia Harnum, Winterton; brother Wayne (Holly), Hant¹s Harbour; mother-in-aw Margaret Curl, Harbour Grace; sisters-in-law Beatrice Curl (Elaine), Harbour Grace, Daphne Curl (Mike), Roddickton, Jane Curl, Goose Bay; brothers-in-law John Curl (Phyllis), Kelligrews, Guy Curl (Ivy), Roddickton, Denley Curl (Donna), British Columbia and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2009 from St. Mary's Anglican Church, Clarenville with interment at Clarenville Interdenominational Cemetery.
