The death occurred at Perrin’s Clinton View Lodge, Clinton, on Sunday, April 19, 2009, of Hazel Bourque, of Clinton View Lodge, and formerly of Hawthorne Avenue, Summerside, aged 92 years. Born in Springhill, N.S., she was the daughter of the late James and Ada (Rushton) Adams. Survived by her children, James (Faye), Summerside, Carolyn (John) MacKinnon, Charlottetown, and Ronald (Susan), Summerside, grandchildren, Donnie (Melody), Sarnia, Ont., Tanya Carrier (Brent Bingham), Richmond, B.C., Jocelyn Carrier (Andrew Fowler), Dartmouth, N.S., Clint Carrier (Elizabeth Dodd), Saint John, N.B., Jason (Shirley), Freetown and Adam Bourque, Summerside, and by great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Jared, Danielle and Grace. Predeceased by her husband, Camille Bourque, brothers, John and Junior Adams, and by sisters, Dorothy MacKay and Helen Harroun. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Wednesday, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 2 p.m. Interment later in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. only. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
