Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Health Sciences Centre on April 18, 2009, at age 47, formerly of Southeast Placentia. Predeceased by her father, Patrick; brother, Johnny. Left with many happy memories to cherish are her mother Ruby; daughters Patricia (Gavin) and Samantha and their father, Chris Becker; two brothers, Alex (Gertie) and Paddy (Marie), Southeast Placentia; nine sisters: Anne Dalton (Herb), Westfield, Ma; Alice (Chuck), Placentia; Margie (Peg) Pitcher (Vern), Dunville; Theresa Collins (Tom), Southeast Placentia; Betty Whittle (Gerard), Southeast Placentia; Stella Perham (Pat), Mount Pearl; Barbara Miller (Doug Newell), Calgary; Cindy Hickey (Leo), Mount Pearl; Debbie Rowland (Matt), Milton, Fl. and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff at the Coronary Care Unit for their excellent and compassionate care. Phyllis will be resting at Maher’s Funeral Home in Placentia. Visitations on: Monday, April 20, and Tuesday, April 21 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday from Sacred Heart Church, Placentia at 2:30 p.m. Interment to follow at the Dermott McGettigan Memorial Cemetery, Southeast Placentia.
