Jeanette England Lunn, age 79, of New Canaan, NS, passed away peacefully at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre on Sunday, April 19, 2009.

Born in Wharton, NS, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Vilda (Graham) Priest.

Jeanette enjoyed cooking and quilting and was an avid card and bingo player.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Joseph; son Walter (Theresa) New Waterford; daughters Doris (Carl) White, Springhill, Phyllis (Charles) Wheaton, New Canaan; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; brother Lorne (Mildred), Oxford; sisters Bona Canning, Parrsboro and Linda (James) Townsend, Port Greville, NS as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by sons Kenneth, Tony, Peter and Paul.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane St., Springhill, NS (902-597-2361). Cremation has taken place. There is no visitation or memorial service. A private family committal service will be held in the St. John Anglican Cemetery, Diligent River at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation may do so to the charity of your choice.
