September 14, 1932 to September 14, 2008. Passed peacefully away at the Leonard A. Miller Centre at the age of 76, surrounded by his family, Jean (nee Stockwood); son Gary; daughter-in-law Joanne; grandsons: Liam and Quinn who will miss their grandpa dearly. Also leaving to mourn are sisters: Myrtle (Gordon), Evelyn (Jimmy); sisters-in-law: Maisie and Mariette and their families. Jim will also be missed by his sisters-in-law: Marie (Boyd), Carol (Yves) and brothers-in-law: Bob (Denise), Les (Shirl), Ray (Bev) and Harold (Marie). Predeceased by his parents George and Harriett and brothers: Henry, Fred, Rob and niece Sherry. Remembered always by his many nieces and nephews and dear friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mount Pearl on Tuesday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Funeral service to be held 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 17, 2008, from Topsail United Church. Interment to follow at the Topsail United Church Cemetery.
