John James Campbell, 65, of Milton, Ont. and formerly of Iona, passed away on April 7, 2009 at his home.
He was born in Jamesville and was the son of the late Colin and Catherine (Beaton) Campbell. He moved to Ontario 43 years ago and worked for Air Canada for 33 years until he retired last year.
He is survived by spouse, Donna Cambridge, Ont.; two daughters, Angela, Paris, Ont., Laura, Cambridge, Ont.; son, Colin (Pamela) Paris, Ont.; grandchildren, Isaac, Aiden, Ethan and Alyssa. He is also survived by two brothers, Francis, (Tena) Sydney and Michael, Baddeck.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by an infant sister, Annie Sarah.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date in St. Columba Church, Iona with burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery, MacKinnon Harbour.
Donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
