Rushton - The death occurred suddenly at his late residence, on Monday, April 20, 2009, of Raymond Logan Rushton, of Arcona Street, Summerside, aged 66 years. Born in Portaupique, NS, he was the son of Raymond and the late Marion (MacKay) Rushton. Survived by his wife Virginia (Mailman) Rushton; children Chris (Jeannine), Rocky, Ray (Ruby), Tanya (Chris) MacAusland; grandchildren Jelisa, Bailey, Hannah, Anne Marie, Joshua, Brittany and Aurora Rushton, Jasmine MacAusland; nieces who were like daughters Cindy Galt, Linda Gallant, Sandra Abbott and Darlene Gallant; step-mother Pearle (Upham) Rushton; brothers and sisters Mary (Art) Dillman, Hilda Hughes, Reg (Yvonne), Charles, Ralph (Betty), Sharon Noble, Judy (Pat) Doll, Geraldine (Brian) Thompson and Donald (Darlene). Predeceased by a brother Bryce and a sister Linda, in infancy. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Friday, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Thursday from 5-8 p.m. only. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated. Members of the Summerside Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion will hold a Service of Remembrance at the funeral home, Thursday at 4:45 p.m. www.moase.ca
