Hazel M. Berry, age 49, of Springhill, NS, passed away in All Saints Hospital, Springhill, on Monday, April 13, 2009.
Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late John M. and Betty A. (MacPhee) Campbell.
Hazel enjoyed crocheting, carpentry, camping, bass fishing, going to PEI, traveling out west, and her family and friends. She worked in Nunavut as a cook for 10 years, ran her own cleaning business. She acquired her PCW certificate in 1994 and worked at the High Crest Nursing Home. She was a member of the Springhill Search and Rescue for 5 years.
She will be sadly missed by her husband John Berry, Springhill; son John Michael Berry, Calgary; daughter, Brandie Lynn Watson; granddaughter, Jessica Lynn Watson, both of Springhill; brother, John (Shelley) Campbell, Calgary, AB; sisters, Lillian (Eric) Rushton, Springhill, Sheryl (Larry) Ross and Tanya (Ron) Warren both of Amherst; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Tiffany Ellen Berry.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane St. where her memorial service will be held Friday, April 17, 2009 at 3 pm. Burial will take place in the Hillside Cemetery in the spring.
