REES, Millicent – Passed peacefully away at Dr. Walter Templeman Hospital, Bell Island, Newfoundland on April 24th, 2009 after a short struggle with cancer. Predeceased by her husband Fred, son Ronnie, sister Eileen and parents Aaron and Olive Worthman. Leaving to mourn daughters: Sherry Rodgers (Greg), Sheila Harnum (George); son Fred (Pauline); sister Rona Reid (Charlie); and brother Randy Worthman (Paulette). Also left with fond and loving memories grandchildren: April, Ronnie, Stephen, Sterling, Robert (Leslie), Chris, Jeremy, Jennifer, Matt and Janelle. Her one and only great-granddaughter Molly; brother-in-law Stephen Rees (Eileen) and best friend and sister-in-law Lillian Bickford. Also many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her many friends throughout Canada and her close friends at the Bell Island Seniors Complex. Resting at Pendergast’s Funeral Home, Bell Island. Visitation Saturday, April 25th, 2-9 p.m. and Sunday, April 26th 12-9 p.m. Service at United Church, Bell Island on Monday, April 27th at 2 p.m. followed by cremation. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory can be made to the Sick Kids Hospital or Janeway Hospital.
