Age 67, died peacefully at home on September 15, 2008. She was the daughter of the late Blanche (Plank) and Phillip Hynes of St. Bernard's Newfoundland. She was predeceased by a sister Elizabeth (Joseph Walsh) and two brothers: Samuel (Elsie) and Stephen (Elizabeth). Hilda is survived by her loving son, Kevin Hynes, Halifax, N.S. Also surviving are sisters: Lucy (Walsh), Phyllis (Hodder), Sadie (Corrigan) and a brother Patrick (Bernice); as well as many nieces and nephews. Service and burial to take place in St. Bernard's, date pending.
