Maurice Michael Spurvey, age 72 yrs., of Fox Harbour, Placentia Bay, (former Marine Atlantic Employee). Predeceased by parents Richard Spurvey and Mary and Patrick Whiffen and sister Helen Locke and father-in-law Anthony Griffiths. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife Mary (Griffiths); his children: Stella Davis (Bill), Maurice (Charlene), Margie O’Reilly (Mike), Darlene Earle (Glen), Wanda Duke (Bob); and 11 grandchildren: Victoria and Valerie Davis, Matthew, Stephen and Mackenzie Spurvey, Kaitlyn and Marcus O’Reilly, Nicholas and Brandon Earle, Jessica and Meghan Duke; brother Ron and sister Joan, mother-in-law Margaret Griffiths and special friend and brother-in-law Anslem Griffiths and brothers and sisters of the Whiffen Family. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home on Saturday April 25 & Sunday April 26 from 2-5 P.M. and 7-9 P.M.
