Passed peacefully away at the Escasoni Complex on Sunday, April 26,2009, Doris Ford (Smith). Predeceased by her beloved husband Henry A. Ford (1975), father Attwood Smith (1954), mother Alice (2003), brothers Aaron (1975), Kevin (2006) and sister Jenny (2008). Fondly remembered by her sister Jean Howard (Hank 1970) residing in Hamilton, Ont., Brothers William (Shirley), Gordon (Vera), sisters-in-law Bertha and Vera and brother-in-law Clarry, all residing in Elliott’s Cove, Random Island. Dot will be lovingly remembered by her large number of nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, St. John’s. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 followed by a graveside service at Mount Pleasant Cemetery at 2 p.m. No flowers by request.
