At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, April 27, 2009, of Mrs. Anne Marie MacDonald (nee Connolly) “Aunt Ann” of Blooming Point, age 67 years.
Beloved wife of John B. “J.B.” MacDonald, and dear mother of Shannon MacDonald (David Postill).
Anne will also be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Gemma, Anna and Jacob; her brothers and sisters, Bernard “Buff” (Claire) Connolly, Pat (Rosalie) Connolly, Paul “Buff” Connolly (Pam Stewart), and Cathy (Brian) Gaudette; her brothers and sisters-in-law, George (Arleen) MacDonald, Mary C. (MacDonald) Richard, Jim (Holly) MacDonald; and her several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, John J. and M. Anna (Handrahan) Connolly.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 10:30 Thursday morning, then transferred to St. Bonaventure’s Church, Tracadie Cross, for funeral mass at 11 a.m. Interment later in the family plot at St. Bonaventure’s Parish Cemetery.
If so desired, memorials in Mrs. MacDonald’s memory can be made to the P.E.I. Cancer Treatment Center or St. Bonaventure’s Parish Cemetery Fund.
