MRS. ROSE SPICER of Moose Jaw died Sunday, April 26, 2009 after a short illness at the age 93 years. Predeceased by her first husband John Stamina, second husband Albert Spicer, son Garry and daughter-in-law Evelyn Stamina, brothers Ace and Danny, sisters Annie, Grace, Margaret and Eileen, Rose is survived by her son Danny Stamina of Moose Jaw, daughters Helen (Jack) Hurrell of Calgary, Leona (Wayne) Taylor of Kelowna and Marie (Merv) Knelsen of Tulsa, Oklahoma, brother Connie Popescul (Lena) of Edmonton, sisters Marie Medwid of Regina, Eleanor (Reno) Roy of Weyburn, Valerie Shymko of Calgary, Doris (Peter) Yakimshyn of Calgary, sister-in-law Marjorie Popescul of Regina; step-daughter Doreen (Walter) Avery of Estevan, step-son Morris (Sandi) Spicer of Portland, Oregon, step-son Roy Spicer of Vancouver; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Andrew’s United Church Chapel, 60 Athabasca St. E., Moose Jaw. Reverend Earla McKinnell will officiate. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated. In living memory of Rose, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W. J.
