It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of Thomas Allan Peach, on Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at the Glace Bay Health Care Facility.
Born in New Waterford, Thomas was the son of the late John William and Mary Bell MacLeod.
Thomas was employed as a teacher for many years and was a member of St. Mary’s Anglican Church. Thomas was a captain of the army cadets of Morrison Glace Bay High. He loved his garden and was also an avid bee keeper.
Thomas was predeceased by brother, Hugh, infant sister, Mary Christina and sister-in-law, Kay.
Visitation for the late Mr. Thomas Allan Peach will be held Wednesday, April 29 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Patten Funeral Home, 71 Union St., Glace Bay, 849-7520. Funeral service will be held Thursday, April 30 at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Glace Bay, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Vernon Reed officiating. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
