Passed away at his home in Catalina on Sunday, April 26, 2009, Fred Manuel, aged 57 years. Predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Blanche Manuel, sister Faith, brother Maxwell and nephew Terry Matchem. Left to mourn, brothers: Tom (Eileen), Jim (Linda) and Graham; brother-in-law Donald Matchem. He will also be remembered by a large circle of family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Strathie’s Funeral Home, Catalina on Wednesday from 8 p.m. - 10 p.m. and Thursday morning from 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Funeral service will take place on Thursday at St. Peter’s Anglican Church at 2 p.m. Inurnment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery. No flowers by request. Donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
