Passed peacefully away at Presentation Motherhouse on Friday, September 19, 2008 aged 97 years. Predeceased by her parents Lillian and John, and her sister Margaret (Charles) Furey. Left to mourn and to celebrate her life are: the Presentation Sisters, her devoted nephew Charles J. Furey, many cousins in Canada and the United States and numerous friends. Resting at Presentation Motherhouse, Cathedral Square, St. John's. Visiting hours on Friday, September 19th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, September 20th from 10:00 a.m. to Noon, Vigil Service at 1:00 p.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist on Saturday, at 2:00 p.m. Interment at Presentation Cemetery, Cathedral Square.
