Peacefully, surrounded by family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, May 2, 2009 of Mrs. Marlene (nee Roper) Wilson of Beach Grove Home and formerly of Southdale Ave., Hillsborough Park age 75 years. Beloved wife of the late Roy Wilson and dear mother of Sharlene (Mike) Quinn, Janice (Allan) Hiller, Alfred (Rosemary MacNeil) Larter and Gary (Roxanne) Larter. Also survived by nine loving grandchildren Derek, Michelle, Sean, Joanna, Michael, Nicholas, Matthew, Johnathon and Matthew; two great grandchildren Chelsey and Beckett; brother Roy Roper: sister Marie Hunter; sister-in-law Joan Roper and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Russell and Grace (Campbell) Roper; brother Frankie Roper and sister-in-law Betty Roper. Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home where a private funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow in the family plot in Sherwood Cemetery.
