Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre on Sunday, May 3, 2009. Margaret Mary Chandler, age 84 years. Predeceased by her husband Charles (1961), daughter Mary Mahoney (1998), son-in-law Lar Kieley (1999) and by her five sisters. Leaving to mourn two sons: Wes (Janine) and Bert (Eileen); six daughters: Janie Kieley, Cathy Chandler, Anne Gibson (Bruce), Betty Chandler, Connie Whitten (Wade) and Eileen Earle (Gordon); 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; one brother Bert Hannaford (Regina); two brothers-in-law: Pat Ring and Bill Adams. Also special friend Angela Lee of Goulds. Also a large circle of other relatives and friends in Newfoundland and Nova Scotia. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral arrangements to be announced. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in her memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
