Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family on April 30, 2009, Estella Duncan Constantine, age 91. Predeceased by her husband Harry (1995); brothers: George, Leonard and Robert; sisters: Mona, Jessie and Gertrude. Leaving to mourn three daughters: Estella Burton (Gus), Maureen Oliver (Peter) and Lois Coish (Steve); two sons: Harry Constantine (Alice) and Boyd Constantine (Deb); 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; brother Arthur Reid (Ruth); sister Edith Hobbs; sisters-in-law: Sadie Reid, Edith Reid and Jean Reid; brother-in-law John Constantine. Special thank you to Bernadine Knight, Ethel Noseworthy and Dora Benson for their night vigils and to all the doctors and nurses of 4NB, Health Sciences Centre for their undivided care and attention. Also to Father John Courage, Anglican Chaplain for all his prayers and comforting words. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel.
