Alberta Kordy (formerly Smallman of O\'Leary), 66, passed away peacefully April 29, 2009, at the home of daughter, Kimberley Moore of Marion, Indiana, surrounded by loving family and friends. Alberta was born on P.E.I. to Alfred and Alma Myers of Centre Line Road, Alma. Survived by her husband, Frank Kordy, P.E.I.; son, Bill Clements (Karyl), N.S.; daughter, Kimberley Moore (Dr. David), Indiana; daughter, Trista MacIsaac (Glen), P.E.I.; and grandson, Brennan. Also survived by mother, Alma Abel; sisters, Anne Johnson, Gail Vaillencourt, Darlene Liscum, P.E.I.; Janice Donker, ON; brothers, Alison, Roger, P.E.I.; Mervin, ON; Aunt Carrie Burt, P.E.I. Predeceased by her father, Alfred Myers. Sadly missed by many nephews, nieces and friends. Memorial service, Saturday, May 9, at 3 p.m., Kingdom Hall of Jehovah\'s Witnesses, 20 Taylor Road, off TCH, North Bedeque, (Summerside) P.E.I.; Phil Rochefort presiding. Family will receive friends at the Kingdom Hall following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Watch Tower or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
