Passed away peacefully at the Dr. J.I. O’Connell Centre, Corner Brook on Friday July 4th, 2008 at the age of 84 years. Leaving to mourn her adoptive family, Karen and Dusty Hussey, Cox’s Cove; she also leaves to mourn brothers: Irvine (Pearl) Park, Mountainview Home, Meadows, Stanley (Pearl) Park, Cox’s Cove; sister: Mary (Bert) Payne, Cox’s Cove; sister-in-law: Bessie Park, Cox’s Cove and special friend, Millicent Park, Cox’s Cove; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents: Simon and Amy Park; brother: Howard; sister: May and special family member, Douglas Hussey. Friends may visit St. Nicholas Anglican Church, Cox’s Cove on Saturday evening and Sunday from where the funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7th at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Joan Coles officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to St. Nicholas Stained Glass Window Fund.
