It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alvina Pearl Luther announces her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Saturday, June 14, 2008 two days before her 87th birthday. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her very devoted husband of 64 years, William; son, David (Marie Louise) of Corner Brook; daughters: Lorraine Milley (Bill) of Halifax and Donna of Corner Brook; grandchildren: Bradley, Rayna, Jonathan, Morgan, Heather, Vicky and Scott; great-grandchildren: Ethan, Gavin, Logan and Ava; sisters and brothers: Clarisa Andrews (Roy) of Niagara Falls, Lillian Luther (Jack) of Corner Brook, Dorothy Hutchings (Bob) of Columbus, Ohio, Wilfred Hutchings of Corner Brook and Violet Goodyear (Doug) of Mount Pearl; and a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Evelyn Hutchings; brother, Rendell Hutchings; and 1 infant sister. Visitation will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Monday, June 16, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Wayne Cole officiating. Interment at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
