It is with great sadness that the family of the late Amanda Laura Forward announces her sudden passing on December 18, 2008 at the age of 20 years as a result of a tragic motor vehicle accident. Amanda was the loving daughter of Gail Langdon-Marche (Donny) and John Forward (Sandra), loving sister of Johnathan Forward (Shungu), and endearing granddaughter of Gower and June Langdon of Botwood and Lloyd and Shirley Forward of Halifax. Also left with fond memories are her step-sisters: Heather and Courtney Marche; step-brother and sisters: Sonya, Jonathan and Sheila Gould, nephews: Dion and Josh; and a large circle of family and friends in whose hearts she will live forever. Amanda was a lover of creatures great and small. She graduated from Regina High School in 2006 and was pursuing a degree in biology at Memorial University with hopes of a career in animal science and care. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, where the family will be receiving visitors on Sunday, December 21, 2008 from 7-9 pm and on Monday, December 22, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place at First United, Park St on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 2 pm with Rev. Dr. Wayne Cole officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
