It is with great sadness that the family of the late Anita Louise Thomas announce her sudden passing at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital in St. John’s on Sunday, November 16th 2008 at the age of 64 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her daughter Elizabeth and son-in-law Lee Smith; two precious granddaughters who were the light of her life: Sara and Rachel Lee; sisters: Ramona Cole, Pat Layden, Betty Sansford (Al), Sharon Mansfield, Diann Spurrell, Velma Tulk and Beverley Greene (Bill); brothers: Max Tulk (Diane) and Ron (Florence); cousin Lorraine Sansford (Ted) and also very special friend and caregiver Viola Carter; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Charlie Thomas, and parents Esther Anne and William Tulk. Visitation will take place at the Humber Valley United Church in Pasadena on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at 2 pm with Rev. Andrew Wight officiating. Interment at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers will be graciously accepted or donations can be made to the Humber Valley United Church Memorial Fund or to a charity of one’s choice.
