Passed peacefully in the presence of his loving family on Wednesday July 30th 2008 at the W.M.R. Hospital in Corner Brook, in his 75th year, Cecil Herbert Parsons leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving and devoted wife of 52 Years; Florence, his children; Eddie (Sharon) and Wayne (Joan) both of Hampden, Randy (Virginia) of Slave lake, Alberta, Marcellene (Brian Chaulk) of Deer Lake, and Tommy of St. John's, his 8 grandchildren; Shona, Jennifer, Janine, Wayne, Carolyn, Marcy, Terri-Lee, and Thomas. His 7 great grandchildren, his brother Malcolm (Ruby) Hampden, his special nieces; Jackie, Lana, and Laura, his sister in law Gertrude Brett. Cecil was predeceased by his parents; Thomas and Agnes Mae Parsons, his son; Charlie, his brothers; Douglas Brett, and Alfred Parsons, his mother and father in law; Pheobe and Charles Parsons, also leaves to mourn a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives, friends and also his extended family, the family will be receiving family and friends from the Pentecostal Church in Hampden this evening Friday August 1st 2008 at 7-9 pm and on Saturday August 2nd 2008 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm from where also the funeral service will take place from on Sunday August 3rd 2008 at 2:30 pm with Pastor Calvin Andrews, officiating with the Burial to follow at the church cemetery in Hampden, in lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Diabete Association in memory of Cecil would be graciously accepted, the funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parsons Funeral Home and Chapel 63 North Main street, Deer Lake To sign the guest book or send a message of condolence please visit our web page at www.parsonsfuneralhome.com ‘Forever in Our Hearts’
