It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cora Jane Davis announce her passing at the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Memorial Hospital in Corner Brook on Tuesday April 22nd 2008 at the age of 57 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Garland, her children: David (Donna), Kevin (Lucy), Susanne (Gary Gale), Llewellyn (Cindy), her mother Mrs. Gladys Osmond, her brothers and sisters: Betty (Stan Brown), Garland (Alma), Florence (Ralph Gray), Walter (Catherine), Roy (girlfriend Maisie), Maude (Dwight Penny), Lillian (Rodney Myette), Pauline (Randolph Gray), Wade (Coretta), Selby (Glenda), Kenneth (Debbie), and Paul (Bonnie), her eight grandchildren: Naomi, Corrie, Amanda, Cathy, Jordan, Alysha, Tyler, and Nicholas, also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and her extended family. Cora was predeceased by her father Peter Osmond in 1985. The family will be receiving family and friends from the Church of the Epiphany, Anglican Church in Hampden today Thursday April 24th 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm from where also the funeral service will take place from on Friday April 25th 2008 at 2 pm with the Rev. Hannah Dicks officiating with the Burial to follow at the church cemetery in Hampden. The funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parsons Funeral Home, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake.
