It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cyril Wheeler CD announce his passing on Wednesday, December 31st, 2008 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 52 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Beverley (nee Wells), sons: Stephen (Angie), Brampton, Ont. and Shane (Ashley Penney), Corner Brook; grandchildren Nathan and Emily, Brampton, Ont; father Hollis, sisters and brothers: Marina (John) Young, PEI, Shirley Wells-Covello, Ont., Vera (Darrell) Payne, Geraldine (David) Garnier, NS, Robert (Anita), Sidney (Benita Brake), David (Jeanette) and Bonnie (Derek Blanchard); father and mother-in-law: James and Violet Wells, sister-in-law Pauline (Basil), brothers-in-law Marvin (Judith) and Bruce (Ivy). As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Mary "June" Wheeler, October 4th, 2008. Friends may visit Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in Cox’s Cove Friday, January 2 & Saturday, January 3 at 2-4 & 7-9 pm from where the funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 4th, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Pastor David Crane officiating. Interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church Building Fund. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue, Corner Brook.
