It is with great sadness that the family of the late Daisy Janes announce her peaceful passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at the age of 91 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Chesley Janes, parents, George and Ida Harvey, four brothers and three sisters. Left to mourn are her two daughters, Greta DeLouche and Barbara Cluney, son, Harold (Judy) Janes, all of Boswarlos and 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, care giver, Beverley Harvey and a large circle of family and friends. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital for the great care of their mother. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Friday, April 17th at 2:00 p.m. at the United Church, St Clare Avenue, Stephenville with Interment in the United Church Cemetery in Boswarlos. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations to the United Church Memorial Fund would be greatly appreciated.
