It is with great sadness that the family of the late Donald David Locke announces his passing at the Intensive Care Unit of Western Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 in his 68th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife of 49 years: Shirley; sons: Dana (Trina and Braden) of Corner Brook, and Nathan of St. John’s; daughter: Michele Peach (Don) of Mount Pearl; grandchildren: Michael, Jeffrey, Brian, and Samantha; sisters: Shirley, Gloria, Betty, Sandra, Cynthia, and Joanne; brothers: Bill, Gerald, Max, George, and Tony; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Don was a long time employee (37 years) with Newfoundland Telephone Company. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Rd, today, Thursday, October 16, 2008 from 10 am – 12 noon from where funeral services will take place at 2 pm with Pastor Mark Alcock officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation or to the Janeway Children’s Hospital.
