It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edward Connolly announce his passing on Tuesday, February 12th, 2008 at the Interfaith Home at the age of 73 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories daughters: Paula (John) Tobin, Barrie, ON and Susan (Colin) Mahoney, Corner Brook; son: Darren (Evelyn) Connolly, Halifax, NS; six grandchildren: Jonathan, Jamie, Jade, Justin, Jordyn and Devon; two great grandchildren: Connor and Trinity Dawn; sisters: Gloria Hilliard and Marilyn Connolly; as well as sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife, Ada (Duckie), 2002; brothers: Leo, Danny and Pat; and parents, Daniel J and Susanna Connolly. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Wednesday evening, 7-9:00 p.m. and Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 15th at 10:30 A.M. from Sacred Heart Parish, Father Bernard Buckle officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery.
