Passed peacefully away at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing on June 26th, 2008. Left with precious memories are her seven children: Ruth (Clarence) Burton, Baie Verte, Elmo (Evelyn), Fort McMurray, AB, Rosalind (Gary) Anderson, Salisbury, NB, Roberta (Tyrone) Ball, Hampden, Robert (Rona) Guelph, ON, Peter (Jo), Labrador City and Roxanne, Kippens; 11 grand-children, 16 great grandchildren; one sister, Jean (Peter) Frymark, Barrie, ON; brothers: Harvey (Alma) Bailey, Malcolm (Florence) Bailey, Robert (Joyce) Bailey and Junior (Marion) Bailey, all of Grand Falls-Windsor, sister-in-law Myrtle Bailey of Kippens, as well as a large circle of family and friends. Liza was predeceased by her husband of sixty years, Robert Maxwell Pike, her grand daughter Connie Pike and her brother, Wilfred Bailey. Visitation from 2-4 and 7-9 Saturday, June 28th at Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home in Lewisporte. Funeral service at 2 PM Sunday, June 29th, Bethel Pentecostal Church in Stanhope.
