It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elvina Byrne announces her passing at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s, on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at the age of 62 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her husband, Ralph; sons: Leonard (Kathy) and Todd (Yvonne); daughters: Diane and Deanne (Robert); grandsons: Andrew, Jeff, Devyn, Noah; step-grandkids: Tyler, Ashley, Ryan, Brandon and Jessica; sisters and brothers: Mae (Gerald) Terry, Fred (Glenys) Park, Irvin (Geraldine) Park, Wilbert (Sharon) Park, Wade (Bernice) Park, Stan (Marg) Park, Glenn (Sharon) Park, Eugene (Lisa) Park and Marlene Park (Mark); and a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Lindsay and Myrtle Park; sister, Velma Park; sister-in-law, Bridgette Park and brother-in-law, Andy Park. Visitation will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Tuesday, January 22, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from All Hallow’s Roman Catholic Church with Father Ambrose Hynes officiating.
