It is with great sadness that the family of the late Emmanuel Young announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at the age of 92 years. He will be sadly missed by his five sons: Reuben (Norma) Young of Lourdes, Ernest Young of Stephenville, Ivan (Theresa) Young of Lourdes, Thomas Young of Lourdes, Glen (Nikki) Young of Philadelphia, USA, five daughters: Marina (Jim) Gillispie, Viola (Jim) Escher, all of Philadelphia, USA, Greta (Pat) Gaisson of Ontario, Valerie (Ron) Benoit of Lourdes, Cecilia Young of Ontario, one sister, Isabel Rioux of Silverwood Manor, Kippens, 15 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Reuben and Elizabeth (Hall), three brothers, John, Matthew and Richard Young, four sisters, Mary Ann Marche, Magdalen Rioux, Margaret Benoit and Christine Leroy. Friends may call at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Lourdes on Monday and Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, February 18 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Lourdes with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in West Bay. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell’s Funeral Home, Stephenville.
