Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family on Friday, August 15th, 2008, Eugene Randolph Goodyear, at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook in his 79th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife; Viola, nee Toms, his daughter; Kathy (Darrell Rideout) of Pasadena, his grandchildren; Gillian and Christopher, his 2 brothers; Roland (Kathleen) and Nathaniel, both of Lumsden, his sister- in-law; Mrs. Evelyn Goodyear, and his brother-in-law; Harold Grey of St. John's. Also his special companions; Lilly, Maddie, and Maggie. Also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and his extended family Also very special friends Clarence and Vera Maloney. Cremation has taken place and the family will be having a memorial service at the United Church in Lumsden on Monday, August 18th, 2008, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Tim Bowman officating, with the Burial to follow at the church cemetery in Lumdsen. As request of the family in lieu of flowers contrubutions in Eugene's memory may be made to the United Church fund, Lumdsen.
