The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, November 30, 2008, of Everett "Bond" Elliott, of Julia’s Court, Summerside, aged 81 years. Born in Hampton, NF, he was the son of the late Carl and Norah (Burt) Elliott. Survived by his wife Edith (Penny) Elliott; children Douglas Elliott, Thompson, MB; Lloyd (Juta) Elliott, Surrey, BC; Joyce (Lonnie) Kean, Summerside; Ryden "Roy" Elliott, Medicine Hat, AB; Judy (Andrew) Elliott, Cold Lake, AB; Hedley (Terri) Elliott, Medicine Hat, AB; and Dianna (Peter) Jeans, Ottawa, ON.; by 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a sister Yvonne Walsh, Pasadena, NF; a brother Rev. Boyce Elliott, Oshawa, ON; and by a cousin Bill (Ruth) Thompson, Summerside. Predeceased by a daughter Yvonne Elliott; brothers Prescott and Bruce Elliott and by a son-in-law John Gear. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m.. Interment will take place later in Newfoundland. No visiting hours by personal request.
