The family of the late Florence Gertrude Decker announce her peaceful passing on Friday October 17th 2008 in her 67th year, after a brave and courageous battle with Cancer, at her home surrounded by her loving and devoted family. She leaves to mourn her husband of 48 years Hayward Russell Decker, her 2 daughters; Holly (Clevis Major) and Valerie Tucker (Lorne Wicks), both of Pasadena, her 2 sons; Wallace (Anne- Marie) of Corner Brook, and Ernest (Brenda) of Alberta, her 2 brothers; Norman (Elizabeth) Gilley of Rocky Hr, and Herman (Linda) Gilley of Norris Point, her 9 grandchildren; Christopher, Sheldon, Renee, Jonathan, Stephanie, Adam, Cindy - lee, Kayla, and Shelby. Her 2 great grandchildren; Kaylan and Chloe. Also leaving to mourn a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Florence was predeceased by her parents; Norman Sr & Edna Gilley, her brother; Wallace Gilley, and her sister; Rhoena Major. The family will be receiving family and friends from St. Davids Anglican Church in Pasadena. Today Saturday October 18th 2008 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm and on Sunday October 19th 2008 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, from where also the funeral service will take place on Monday October 20th 2008 at 2 pm with the Rev. Edmund Laldin officating with the Burial to follow at the Church cemetery in Pasadena.
