It is with great sadness that the family of the late Frederick Thomas Osmond announce his passing at the Western Memorial Hospital in Corner Brook, NL on Monday June 16th 2008 in his 86th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his 2 sons; Ellis (Darlene) Osmond, and Glen Osmond, his step son; Doug (Deloris) Coles, his step daughters; Mrs. Bertha Legge and Mrs. Myrtle Higdon, his step son-in-law; Bernard Rogers, 3 grandchildren; Stephen, David, and Krista, 2 great grandchildren; Alex and Amaya. 16 step grandchildren and a large number of step great grandchildren. Also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Frederick was predeceased by his wife; Jessie, September 2007 and his step daughter; Julia Rogers in 2007. The family will be receiving family and friends from the hours of 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. on Wednesday June 18th 2008 from Parsons Funeral Home 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL. The funeral service will take place on Thursday June 19th 2008 at 2 p.m. from the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in Deer Lake, with Pastor Terry Snow officiating with the burial to follow at the church cemetery at Wights Road, Deer Lake.
