It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gertrude Locke announce her passing on Friday, June 13th, 2008 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 93 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her grandchildren: Gertrude Bradbury (Robert), Elizabeth Randell and Joseph Randell (Norris); great grandchildren: Hannah and Jacob Bradbury, Julia and Leyna Rottboll, David, Adam, Leah and Rebecca Randell; one great great grandson: Will Randell; son-in-law: Sterling Randell (Muriel); special niece, Freda Moores, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Elias Locke; daughter: Vera Randell and great grandson, Aaron Bradbury. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 15th at 2:00 p.m. from the First United Church, Park Street. Reverend Dr. Wayne Cole officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
