It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gladys Attwood announces her passing at the Interfaith Home, Corner Brook, NL on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 in her 97th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her daughters: Joan (John) Parris of Ontario, Shirley (William) Newell of Corner Brook, Beverley Attwood of Corner Brook and Linda (Russell) Wells of McIvers; sons: Thomas (Dora), Jack (Irene) and Monty (Nancy) all of Ontario; 25 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph in 1982 and sister, Louisa Randell. Visitation will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Thursday, July 31, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Her remains will then be transferred to Scott Funeral Home Georgian Chapel, Barrie, Ontario for burial.
