It is with great sadness that the family of a beloved husband and father, Harold Keats Jr. announces his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on June 29th, 2008 in his 60th year. He leaves to mourn with many fond and loving memories, his wife of 37 years: Glennis (nee Peddle); daughter: Katherine of UAE; son: Chad (Stephanie) of St. John’s; sisters: Sybil Evans (Hoover) of Deer Lake, Beatrice Nichols (Beaton) of Reidville, Eleanor Maloney (Roger) of Ottawa; sisters-in-law: Pauline Ash (Don), Cynthia Parsons, Gloria Kennedy (Wayne), Diane Larsen (Robert), Sylvia Clarke (Harold); brothers-in-law: Gary Peddle (Donna), Carl Peddle (Mona); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Harold was predeceased by his parents: Harold and Eva (nee Tulk) Keats of Cormack. Visitation will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place at St. Michael’s and All Angels Anglican Church, Park Drive on Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 2 pm with Reverend Druggett officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit, Western Memorial Regional Hospital or to Daffodil Place.
